Good enough place to stay
It’s in a nice neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle yet connected via buses and the underground to the city centre. Service quality of the staff is impeccable. Beds are comfortable.
The double beds are a tad too small so it wasn’t very comfortable for 4 of us to share 2 double beds. Hotel is also old and the floorboards creak.

What was the highlight of The Columbia
Loved our rooms, the beds, location, it was perfect for 5 of us across 2 rooms.
I loved the quirkiness of The Colombia. It really was like stepping back in time but in a really good way. The beds were so comfortable and I liked that we could crack a window to cool down, even in winter! Location opposite Kensington Gardens and the close proximity to multiple tube stations as well as Paddington Station made it perfect.
The room was often TOO warm and we had to open a window which unfortunately let the noise in.
